Job summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights is hiring a Registered Radiology Technologist for nights with on-call duties. You will operate X-ray equipment, produce diagnostic images, and maintain alignment with PACS workflows.

This part-time role offers a sign-on bonus and opportunities for clinical growth within a Magnet Hospital setting. Responsibilities include performing general radiology, portable and fluoroscopic exams, ensuring patient safety, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.
