Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for night shifts (4 ten-hour shifts). The role involves applying prescribed ionizing radiation, positioning patients, and ensuring high-quality imaging in multiple settings.

You will operate fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment and may assist with IV contrast, phlebotomy, and PACS/EMR tasks. Qualifications include a high school diploma, completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registry or eligibility, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registry or registry-eligible.
• BLS (AHA BLS-HCP) certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients before, during, and after procedures to obtain quality images.
• Operate radiologic equipment including CR/DR and fluoroscopy; schedule/registration as needed.
• Perform IV contrast injections and related procedures per CLIA site requirements.
• Train students and staff as assigned.
• Maintain documentation and EMR data; communicate with physicians and staff.
