Job summary

Laureate Psychiatric Clinic and Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse for adult patients on a newly remodeled unit. The RN I will work 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with weekend rotation, assessing and planning patient care using the nursing process.

Requires completion of nursing education, an Oklahoma RN license, and up to 6 months of related experience. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively, document care steps, and assist with discharge planning and patient education.

Qualifications

• Completed basic nursing education approved by a state board of nursing.
• Current RN license (multi-state or Oklahoma).
• 0–6 months related experience.
• Knowledge of disease state management and clinical pathways.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to care for patients.
• Assess, organize, and complete patient care with age and cultural factors.
• Document steps of the nursing process.
• Collaborates with other disciplines as appropriate.
• Supports patient discharge through referrals and patient education resources.
