Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Food Clerk to join our team in a fast-paced, customer‑driven environment. You’ll help keep our Fresh departments stocked, attractively displayed, and easy to shop, while engaging with customers to share product knowledge and ensure a positive store experience.

You’ll be responsible for stocking, rotating, and merchandising products, using technology to complete tasks accurately, and following safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming store experience in Fresh departments.
• Build connections with customers and teammates.
• Help customers find products and share knowledge.
• Maintain attractive product displays and stock levels.
• Rotate and merchandise products according to standards.
• Utilize technology to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
• Operate Hi-Lo (forklift) and other powered industrial trucks.
