Job summary

PillPack, LLC in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a Pharmacist to join our team. The role covers dispensing, verifying, and packing prescriptions, with hands-on involvement from initiation to final shipment while ensuring compliance with Federal and State laws.

You will collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain high quality assurance, process prescriptions, and answer clinical questions. A Pharmacist license in the state and knowledge required; LTC/retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree required.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in the state of employment (and others if requested).
• Knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and patient care regulations.
• Exemplary interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to perform basic computer functions and pharmacy software usage.

Responsibilities

• Verify medication quality assurance for all packet and bulk dispenses.
• Collaborate with staff pharmacists to ensure QA checks before shift end.
• Collaborate on production related to new business lines QA checks before shift end.
• Complete ancillary housekeeping tasks: returns, rejects, substitutions, canister approvals.
• Answer clinical questions and provide clinical guidance.
• Investigate errors, facilitate resolutions and reporting.
• Deliver pertinent pharmacy information to the distribution team.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and federal/state laws.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to maintain customer satisfaction.
