Night Pediatric Radiologist, Remote (Finance)

Nemours Radiology is seeking a Pediatric Radiologist to join our emergency radiology section as a 100% remote nighthawk, operating on a 1 week on and 2 weeks off schedule with hours from 10pm-8am Eastern. This position involves 100% pediatric imaging, including body radiology, CT, MRI, and emergency neuroradiology. We offer a competitive salary and a generous signing bonus.

Nemours Radiology is one of the largest pediatric radiology groups in the United States, comprising 44 pediatric radiologists dedicated to providing advanced diagnostic and interventional radiology services across locations in Delaware, Florida, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. In 2023, over 430,000 imaging examinations were conducted within our system. Our enterprise operates within a unified PACS environment, with faculty working from shared worklists, participating in multi-site conferences and initiatives, and sharing after-hours responsibilities. Currently, we have a dedicated team of 3 nighthawk radiologists.

We offer collaborative research opportunities supported by dedicated leadership, PhDs, and a radiology research fellowship. Our educational programs include Pediatric Radiology and Pediatric Neuroradiology fellowships at our Orlando, FL, and Wilmington, DE campuses, along with radiology residency rotations from multiple programs. Pediatric Radiology fellows are expected to rotate with the nighthawk team during their fellowship year.

Nemours Radiology provides comprehensive pediatric imaging services (diagnostic and interventional) for Nemours Children's Hospital in Delaware, Nemours Children's Hospital in Florida, Nemours Children's Specialty Care in Jacksonville, FL, Nemours Children's Clinic, and West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, FL, as well as several hospital partners. Faculty are licensed and credentialed across all four states and partner institutions.

An academic appointment is available but not required for our emergency radiology section. Appointment level will be based on qualifications and experience, with potential affiliation with the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA.
