Job summary

Premier Health's Miami Valley Hospital seeks a Patient Care Tech/Health Unit Coordinator for the Postpartum Unit. The role supports nurses with patient care tasks, vitals checks, mobility assistance, and basic documentation to ensure smooth hospital operations.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, BLS CPR training, and relevant care experience. Evening shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, 70 hours per pay period, in Ohio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS CPR certification required or provided at orientation.
• Experience in direct patient care or nursing support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check vitals: temperature, heart rate, respiration, blood pressure.
• Assist patients with mobility, dressing, and meals.
• Collect samples such as urine.
• Report changes in patient condition to the nurse.
• Assist with patient walks, hygiene, and positioning.
