Job summary

Trinity Health in Troy, NY is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join a state-of-the-art facility. This full-time role offers a 12-hour night shift with tuition assistance and career development, plus a robust orientation program.

You will perform direct and indirect patient care under a registered nurse, assist with daily living activities, take vitals and document care, and help manage supplies. A high school diploma or GED is required and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to do heavy lifting, pushing, pulling and standing for long hours.
• Completion of 1 week SPHP PCT training program and unit specific competencies.
• Pay is based on experience; exempt positions under FLSA will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
• PCT Pay Range: $17.25 - $25.00.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding and ambulation.
• Taking vitals, patient care documentation.
• Managing supplies.
