Job summary

Barilla Group in Ames, IA is seeking dedicated individuals to join our pasta packaging team. As a Packaging Operator, you will load packaging materials onto packaging machines, run quality checks, and perform mechanical adjustments to ensure top-quality pasta products.

The night shift pays $27.32 per hour (includes 10% shift differential) with a 2-2-3 schedule and alternating weekends; benefits include healthcare, dental, vision, a 401(k) match up to 6%, wellness subsidy, tuition reimbursement,

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in production or food manufacturing and a general working knowledge of computers is required.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and good manufacturing practices (GMP's) preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and appropriate supporting programs (e.g., cleaning, sanitation, pest management, etc.) is a plus.
