Job summary

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel in Florida is seeking a Paramedic to join our transport team on the Night shift. This PRN position involves identifying, intervening, and stabilizing patients during transport under EMS protocols and medical director guidance.

You will administer medications, manage airways, operate ventilators and monitors, and ensure accurate ePCR documentation while providing patient and family education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Licenses: BLS, ACLS, PALS, PARA; CDL or valid DL required.
• 1+ years ambulance transport experience preferred.
• Licensed Paramedic required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, intervenes, and stabilizes patients during transport under the direction of the medical director and EMS protocols.
• Provides direct medical care to patients during transport consistent with EMS protocols.
• Establishes and manages advanced airways via intubation, LMA, or cricothyrotomy as approved.
• Manages ventilators, IABP, and LVAD during transport.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions and treatments; educates patients and families.
