Job summary

Infra Pipes is seeking a Packaging Operator to maintain the quality of extruded HDPE pipe through manufacturing and packaging steps. The role operates during the night shift, ensuring order accuracy and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring product quality, correcting markings, handling reels with a forklift, and preparing reels for startup, while keeping an organized workspace and completing inventory paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience performing the essential functions listed above.
• Ability to drive a forklift.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must have a clean driving record and valid license/insurance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product during manufacturing to meet order requirements.
• Check prints and markings; make corrections as needed.
• Operate and prepare reels and coilers for startup.
• Transport finished product to inventory using forklift.
• Maintain a neat, safe work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Complete line operations paperwork for inventory.
• Assist extrusion tech during line start-ups.
• Support other packaging specialists as needed.
