Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care for an assigned group of patients. The RN collaborates with the care team to plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care while addressing physical, emotional, and cultural needs.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, document care accurately, and adhere to standards and policies. Florida RN licensure and BLS are required; oncology experience and teaching colleagues are a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN licensure.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• The RN has a responsibility to act as an educator to their peers, patients, and their families.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care for an assigned group of patients.
• Provide Patient-Centered Care addressing physical, developmental, emotional, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and functional status.
• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure supplies; comply with hospital standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
