Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc in Winston-Salem is seeking an Offset Utility Operator for a 7pm–7am shift. You will operate and assist in offset printing equipment, enter job data into AS400, and manage loads and pallets. The role requires daily forklift operation and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Overtime is required and a drug screen is conducted after a conditional offer. Benefits such as health, vision and dental start on day one, and you will work in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Operate forklift daily and enter finished goods data into AS400 inventory system.
• Follow safety rules and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ability to enter and track job data and assign loads in system.
• Attend to details during press operations and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate Jogger and Guillotine machines with precise tolerances.
• Enter job data into AS400 and move units to correct locations.
• Stage loads with forklift and pallet jack for shipping and inventory.
• Perform preventive maintenance on press equipment as scheduled.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow sanitation procedures.
