Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst is seeking a Staff Nurse for a mixed unit including General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice. This full-time role features 7pm-7am shifts with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays, at Elmhurst Main Hospital.

You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care across diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if ADN, must complete BSN within five years of start date.
• RN Diploma holders may be grandfathered; Illinois RN licensure required.
• CPR certification by AHA or Red Cross; chemotherapy/biotherapy certification within four years.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Nurse delivers safe, compassionate care across patient populations by planning, implementing and evaluating the plan of care.
• The nurse collaborates with nurses, physicians, and the clinical team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within 5 years

RN Licensure (State of Illinois)

CPR Certification (AHA or Red Cross)

Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
