Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Registered Nurse, Mother/Baby, Per Diem (nights) to provide safe, compassionate care within a patient-centered plan. You will collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to implement care and educate patients and families.

The role emphasizes adherence to NYU Langone Nursing Standards, using EHR tools and participating in unit-based quality initiatives. Per diem nights offer flexible scheduling and opportunities to contribute to exceptional care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required.
• Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
• Fluent written and spoken English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Collects, assesses and documents patient healthcare data.
• Involves patient/family and Interdisciplinary team to identify a plan of care and outcomes that are realistic and measurable.
• Documents assessment and reassessment in medical records.
• Implements interventions in coordination of patient care in a safe, timely and appropriate manner.
• Educates the patient/family regarding health status and established plan of care.
