Job summary

METHODIST MANSFIELD MEDICAL CENTER is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for a 7p-7a shift in Mansfield, TX. The ideal candidate has NICU experience, current Texas RN licensure, and BLS certification. BSN preferred and willingness to work a 3-day week in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, provide direct and indirect patient care, and contribute to improving the patient experience while following unit standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months NICU RN experience or completion of NICU Nurse Residency Program.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients.
• Direct and supervise other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Communicate clearly and openly to ensure patient/family understanding of care and treatment.
• Maintain age-specific care according to unit standards and hospital policies.
• Promote a safe, therapeutic environment and complete timely documentation.
