Job summary

Memorial Hermann is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neurology Intermediate Medical Unit (IMU) on the Night shift at the Texas Medical Center in Houston. You will collaborate with the physician and healthcare team to provide professional nursing care, perform assessments, assist with exams and treatments, educate patients, and maintain comprehensive medical records.

RN levels range from entry to senior positions (RN I <1 year to RN IV 10+ years), with Texas license and BLS required. BLS certification is mandatory; additional unit-specific certifications may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred.
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care in collaboration with physicians and healthcare team.
• Performs nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatments, educates patients.
• Maintains accurate medical records and coordinates discharge plans.
