Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center nurses in the Neurosurgery unit are sought for a full-time RN role on a 36-hour week, 7p-7a night shift. You will provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process in a high-acuity Progressive Care setting.

The unit is a 23-bed neuroscience specialty, with stroke center recognition and advanced spine care, requiring strong assessment, teamwork, and a patient-centered care approach.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license (state).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
