Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a General Neurology Inpatient APP Per Diem NIGHT to join the team. You will work with clinicians to assess, plan, and implement care for patients with health and safety needs, demonstrating leadership and collaboration in a patient-centered model.

The role requires NP or PA credentials with prescriptive authority, NJ licensure, and a collaborative agreement with staff physicians; weekends/holidays as needed, no on-call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Master's or Doctorate NP program; prescriptive authority per NJ law.
• NPI and physician collaboration required.
• Board certification in nursing or physician assistant role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement neurological inpatient care within a patient-centered model.
• Collaborate with hospital team for leadership, coaching, and ethical decision-making.
• Provide direct clinical care, consultation, and guidance as needed.
