Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital in Utah is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard schedule (21:00–07:00). You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, ensure imaging quality, and collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to support patient care.

Qualified applicants may receive a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance. Strong ARRT MR certification and BLS are required; 1–2 years' MRI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT certification.
• ARRT(R) cross-training in MRI is acceptable.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT/competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Ensures proper patient identification and prepares the patient for the exam.
• Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality.
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality.
• Assists and instructs students and other MRI Techs in exam protocols and equipment.
• Provides patient education, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, and reporting equipment failures.
