Job summary

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a MedSurg RN to provide bedside care for a variety of patients and to perform individualized assessments that lead to tailored plans of care. The role includes prepping equipment and assisting physicians during examinations and treatments.

Responsibilities also cover administering prescribed medications, monitoring for adverse symptoms, changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs as needed. Shift: 3x12 Nights.

Responsibilities

• MedSurg RNs provide bedside care for a variety of patients and execute individualized patient assessments to create an individualized plan of care.
• MedSurg RNs prepare equipment and assist physicians during examination and treatment of patients.
• MedSurg RNs prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications.
• Initiate alternative action when adverse symptomology is displayed.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs when necessary.
• Shift: 3x12 Nights
