Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Mentor Hospital is seeking a Medical Technologist/MLT/Lab Technician IV for night shifts (11:00pm-7:00am) in the Laboratory-Marymount Hospital department. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science or CLIA high-complexity qualifications, with potential for ASCP/AMT certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical or biological science from an accredited institution or meets CLIA high complexity qualifications
• Diploma and/or transcripts required
• Education outside the United States must be translated to English with proof of equivalency

Responsibilities

• Follow lab procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, and reporting results
• Maintain quality control documentation and instrument calibrations
• Ensure documentation practices are clear and legible
• Perform proficiency testing per CLIA regulations and maintain compliance
• Stay current with regulatory requirements and continuing education
• Identify and communicate issues affecting test performance to supervisors
