Job summary

GlobalPoint HC is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist for a 7 on 7 off overnight schedule from 7 PM to 7:30 AM in Winnebago, Nebraska. The role involves specimen handling, LIS entry, and adherence to infection control and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include analyzing patient samples, maintaining equipment, and providing accurate results with strong customer service. Experience in hospital lab environments is preferred, with certification requirements for MT/MLT

Qualifications

• Medical Laboratory Technician with an Associate degree and certified/registered (MLT-ASCP, MLT-AMT, CLT-NCA).
• Medical Technologist with a Bachelor’s degree and certified/registered (MT-ASCP, MT-AMT, CLS-NCA).
• Minimum of one year experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital lab practices, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses, tests and procedures to aid in diagnosis or treatment.
• Accession and order tests in LIS; process specimens and refer to reference labs.
• Operate, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment; troubleshoot as needed.
