Job summary

The Harmony House in Ocala, FL is seeking a compassionate Night Shift Med Tech/Direct Care Aide for 7pm–7am, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. This small, quiet home emphasizes resident well-being and teamwork.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, help with medications and meals, and maintain records in collaboration with nursing staff. Training is provided; CNA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification is a plus.
• Ability to work night shifts; weekends 2 nights per week and 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents; follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administering medications and treatments as needed.
• Assisting with meal preparation and serving.
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting changes to nursing staff.
• Participating in resident care planning and implementation.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
