Job summary

Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest, Mississippi, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Med-Surg floor on the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). You will deliver patient-centered care, monitor conditions, administer medications, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and healing.

Qualifications include an active Mississippi RN license, BSN preferred, BLS required, ACLS preferred, and 1 year Med-Surg experience preferred. Night differential and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi.
• BSN preferred; accredited nursing program graduate.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Med-Surg nursing experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• Proficiency in electronic health records; strong communication; ability to work independently at night.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on Med-Surg unit.
• Monitor vital signs and assess changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and document accurately.
• Maintain thorough patient records and care interventions.
• Coordinate with physicians and therapists for cohesive care.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, post-discharge care, and meds.
