Job summary

Sabert Corporation, a global leader in food packaging, is seeking a Material Handler for the ATC Plant night shift in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will manage raw materials and finished goods, supporting production and inventory control with RF scanning and pallet handling.

The role requires standing up to 12 hours, lifting heavy loads, and strict adherence to GMP and food safety procedures. Training for forklift use is provided; salary includes $21.10/hr plus a $1 shift premium.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP for production reporting.
• Good attendance record.
• Reliable and timely in task performance.
• Flexible with daily assignments.
• Accurate work performance.
• Follow GMP & Food Safety procedures.
• Frequent handling of 4000 lbs +/- of Roll Stock.
• Frequent handling of 1500 lbs +/- of Material in Gaylord’s.
• Standing up to 12 hours daily.
• Use of hands for labeling, counting and reporting.
• Able to withstand extreme heat occasionally.
• Good leadership and team skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Analytical / problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supply Virgin, Regrind, & Additive materials to departments.
• Meet daily production volume expectations.
• Ensure safety and GMP compliance.
• Exhibit teamwork and monitor quality issues.
• Learn and adhere to company requirements.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Operate manual pallet jack to move pallets and use RF scanners for inventory tracking.
• Attach load tags and wrap/stretch wrap loads as needed.
• May operate a forklift (training provided).
