Job summary

Newly Weds Foods seeks a Maintenance Mechanic Technician for the 3rd shift (11pm - 7am) to perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on production machinery, aiming to improve equipment reliability and glove quality as part of the maintenance team.

Essential functions include servicing vertical baggers, cartoners, ovens, conveyors, and robotics, reading schematics, and ensuring safety and quality across production lines.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in maintenance tech fields.
• 1–5 years manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, OSHA and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment as scheduled.
• Conduct emergency repairs to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Read schematics/blueprints; diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and implement repairs.
• Operate, test, and calibrate equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, and Robotic systems.
• Ensure safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures are strictly followed.
