Job summary

Plainview Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a full-time night shift from 6pm to 6am. You will provide high-quality care to residents in a nursing home setting under supervision of an RN or physician.

We offer competitive pay ranging from $30 to $32 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and PTO. Preference for BLS and LPN/RN experience.

Qualifications

• Compassionate patient care and good communication.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• LPN/RN background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to patients and monitor their response.
• Provide basic nursing care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Record and report vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, respiration).
• Assist with medical procedures (wound care, catheterization, tracheostomy care).
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent infections and ensure a safe environment.
