US Foods, Inc. in Columbia, SC is seeking a Warehouse Loader to load outbound orders into designated tractor trailers, ensuring pallets are properly built and wrapped. You will verify load diagrams for accuracy and safety, maintaining a clean and secure dock area.

The role requires pallet jack certification, attention to detail, and the ability to read load diagrams. Prior warehouse experience is preferred; base pay up to $26.98 per hour with overtime opportunities in a multi-temperature

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be pallet jack certified; Good attention to detail; Ability to read load diagrams; basic mathematical skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct trailer inspection before loading to insure trailer is clean, has the proper temperature and is ready for loading.
• Ensure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.
• Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading.
• Load trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and are secured.
• Confirm load diagram is completed and submitted.
• Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area.

This makes sure the drivers have the product safely stowed and organized for maximum efficiency for the day’s deliveries.Loaders may earn up to $26.98 per hour PLUS overtime!Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
