Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Laboratory Department System Supervisor for its facility in The Villages, Florida. Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory department, this position requires a Bachelor's degree and a Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills and five years of experience in a clinical laboratory

Additionally, prior leadership experience is preferred. The role involves working closely with the Laboratory Director to maintain policies, procedures, and operations. Shift availability is from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, specifically Friday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Prior experience in leadership is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the laboratory department.
• Maintain policies and procedures in collaboration with the Laboratory Director.
• Foster good communication between laboratory, physicians, nursing staff, and other departments.
