Providence is seeking a Per-Diem, Night shift Laboratory Assistant at Covenant Medical Center. The role involves performing routine collection procedures and assisting technologists across multiple lab departments, ensuring accurate specimen processing and data communication.

Base pay ranges stated as hourly from $16.14 to $24.69; a comprehensive benefits package is provided. Prior lab and phlebotomy experience are preferred, with familiarity in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Laboratory experience.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• Medical Terminology.
• Computer experience to include Windows Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine collection procedures and assist in Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis and Histology.
• Process laboratory specimens and coordinate clerical/reception duties relating to laboratory testing; relay information between the laboratory and other hospital areas.
