Job summary

Cardinal Health at UNMC Hospital is seeking a Coordinator Inventory Management for onsite operations. The role tracks inventory accuracy, processes returns, and ensures orders are filled on time, with Pyxis and CIMs systems usage.

Shift: Friday to Wednesday 10:00pm–6:30am, pay $21.00/hr with shift differential, benefits provided. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs and collaboration with nurses and logistics teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Commitment to high-quality customer support.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred.
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team.
• Ability to stand, walk long distances, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Credentialing requirements may include vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inventory management and replenishment across assigned locations.
• Receive and verify incoming orders against shipment and receiving reports.
• Use Pyxis and CIMs systems to restock inventory and track inventory.
• Maintain stock locations, including expiration monitoring, recalls, and organization.
• Monitor inventory levels and respond to low stock or quality concerns.
• Collaborate with clinical nurse managers, logistics teams, and nursing staff.
• Safely lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull loads up to 200 pounds.
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime as needed.
