Job summary

GEODIS is hiring for an on-site Inventory Clerk in Tennessee. You will perform inventory cycle counts, reconcile data in the WMS system, and report trends to keep inventory healthy. Experience with forklift operation and Microsoft Office is required.

This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow safety procedures. Salary is determined by market rates and shifts, with opportunities for growth within GEODIS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months related experience and/or training.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• PC literate with Outlook/Word/Excel.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to research and identify root causes in processes.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Accurate data counting and recording in WMS or other systems.

Responsibilities

• Conducts inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs.
• Compiles, verifies and reports daily and/or periodic statistics to detect trends for inventory health.
• Researches variances to determine root cause and logs information for operational review.
• Counts and reconciles randomly chosen part numbers and locations.
• Assists in project execution and recommends process improvements to leaders.
