Job summary

Geisinger Medical Center is seeking a full-time Inpatient Registered Nurse for night shift (36 hours weekly) with a generous hiring incentive up to $24,000 and a minimum rate of $41.50 per hour, plus up to $7 shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. • Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania).

Responsibilities

• Assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities.
• Promotes safety and patient/family satisfaction through compassionate care.
• Coordinates patient care with interdisciplinary team and physicians.
• Provides direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostics.
• Evaluates intervention effectiveness and revises plan based on patient response.
• Participates in unit-based decision-making and quality/safety programs.
