Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, Colorado is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support medication dispensing, preparation, and inventory management across hospital operations under pharmacist supervision.

You will work night shift, apply USP guidelines for sterile compounding, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with nurses and physicians to maintain safe, efficient medication-use processes. Active technician licensure required; 1+ year hospital experience preferred; pay range shown.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required).
• 1+ year of hospital pharmacy experience (Required).
• Active State Pharmacy Technician registration (Required).
• Licensed/Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) (Required).

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately under pharmacist supervision.
• Prepare sterile medications following USP guidelines.
• Manage inventory and controlled substances.
• Operate ADCs and pharmacy software; interpret EHRs for safe medication use.
• Collaborate with nurses and pharmacists to ensure patient safety.
• Support quality improvement and training of peers.
