Job summary

Boone Health’s Boone Hospital Center in Missouri is seeking a part-time Inpatient Pharmacy professional to work 12 hours per week, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with opportunities for additional shifts during the pay period. Parking is free and 401k eligibility is offered.

The role involves assessing and ensuring safe medication use, supervising staff, and supporting procurement, storage and distribution of medications. A pharmacist license and relevant credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Less than 2 years of experience.
• No supervisor experience.
• RPH/MTS license/certification required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages workflow including oversight of technicians, interns and volunteers.
• Participates in departmental meetings and committees as appropriate.
• Evaluates medication orders for appropriateness to patient condition and therapies.
• Documents activities and communications as appropriate.
• Promotes safety and efficiency in the medication use process.
