Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking a Nocturnist to join the ESA - Division of Hospital Medicine in Georgia. You will deliver overnight medical care, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to national patient safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO, a Georgia medical license and DEA, board eligibility or certification, and strong interpersonal and EHR skills. Outpatient experience is a plus and a commitment to inclusive care is valued.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Georgia.
• DEA certificate.
• Board Eligibility or Board Certification preferred.
• Experience in outpatient medical practice is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and strong EHR skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend to patient care overnight as part of the nocturnist team.
• Participate in on-call duties, departmental meetings, and hospital committees.
• Maintain high-quality, evidence-based care aligned with national patient safety goals.
