Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for a hospital medicine night shift at UH Geauga Medical Center in Chardon, Ohio. The role requires NP/PA credentials and offers a THRIVE training option for new grads.

The position supports a full-time night schedule (7pm–7am) with benefits and opportunities for professional growth within UH. Prior APP experience is preferred but new grads may qualify for the new grad THRIVE program.

Qualifications

• MSN NP degree or PA degree from an accredited program.
• 1+ years NP/PA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment and assigns diagnoses based on data and current research.
• Establishes plan of care and implements interventions per carepaths and standards.
• Collaborates with other health care providers in an interdisciplinary team.
• Provides education through role modeling and in-services to staff and patients.
• Demonstrates progressive leadership and effective management.
• Contributes to ongoing professional development and learning environment.
