Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a per diem Advanced Practice Provider to join our 24/7 Hospitalist/Nocturnist team. The role focuses on ED admissions, treatment plan development, and collaboration with hospitalists in inpatient care.

Three years of inpatient experience is strongly preferred. Washington license, ACLS, and DEA are required. No procedures are needed, with 24/7 in-house Intensivists available to support the team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited NP/PA program required.
• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required.
• Washington RN/ARNP or PA license by time of hire required.
• ACLS Certification required.
• Current DEA required.
• Three years of inpatient experience.
• Experience with EPIC or other EMR highly preferred.
• Nocturnists receive a 5% premium on top of base pay.

Responsibilities

• Admissions from ED including treatment plan development and note creation.
• Primary focus on providing exceptional crossover for the Inpatient team.
• APP works with hospitalist as a team.
• Perform other duties within APP scope of practice as assigned by the Hospitalist Medical Director.
• No procedures required.
