Emory Healthcare seeks a Laboratory Shift Supervisor with a Histotechnologist background to lead a night shift (9:00 PM–5:30 AM) in Atlanta. The role requires strong supervision of lab staff, adherence to SOPs, and coordination of tests across hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology and ASCP certification, with at least three years of medical technology experience and supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, or a related science.
• Three years medical technology experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Certifications MT(ASCP)/MLS(ASCP) or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises direct reports and manages employee performance.
• Orients and trains employees; verifies competency.
• Assigns and prioritizes workload; maintains instruments.
• Ensures quality control and regulatory compliance; maintains documentation.
