Job summary

Martin-Marietta-1798b2fd in Oklahoma is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support daily operations by safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment such as 988/992 loaders, excavators, motor graders, dozers, and 100-ton haul trucks. You will transport raw materials from railcars to stockpiles and load finished products for distribution, while helping maintain roadways and loading areas.

Qualifications

• Must be able to complete pre-shift inspection report.
• Must be able to work irregular shifts including days/nights and weekends.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Must perform basic math and read gauges.
• Ability to operate large power equipment and follow safety regulations.
• Ability to plan, organize, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Operate various heavy equipment (graders, track mobiles, haul units).
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Report needed repairs to supervisor or coordinator.
• Follow MSHA/OSHA safety rules and company policies.
• Provide relief in other plant operations (rail unloading, quality control).
• Maintain equipment, site cleanliness, and safety of loading areas.
