Job summary

CSI International, Inc. is seeking a reliable night cleaner to keep our Columbus facilities pristine. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks in the evenings, lock up after hours, and help maintain a safe, clean environment for building occupants.

Ideal candidates have basic cleaning experience and can work independently or with a small team, following safety guidelines for cleaning products. This role offers evening shifts Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with building cleaning tasks preferred.
• Available for evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning and upkeep of the building in good condition.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Operate floor scrubbers and sweepers.
• Clean and stock restrooms.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Remove packaging waste and debris from aisles.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours and secure facility.
• Notify supervisors of major repairs.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked.
• Coordinate with contracted cleaners when needed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

What You’ll Be Doing

We are looking for a reliable and professional night cleaner to keep our facilities clean. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks to keep the buildings looking perfect. You will be tasked with keeping facilities clean in the evenings, potentially locking doors, and arming alarms. To work well in this role, you should have some cleaning experience and basic knowledge of various cleaning products.

Night Cleaner Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Operating heavy, industrial ride-on or walk-behind floor scrubbers and sweepers
• Cleaning and stock restrooms.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Remove heavy-duty packaging waste, plastic wrap, strapping bands, wood splinters & cardboard scraps from isles.
• Remove debris and snow from sidewalks.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Cleaning & neutralizing chemical spills, oil leaks hydraulic fluid, and liquid residue.
• Lock up the facility, potentially arming alarms, independently.
• Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
• Work with a contract cleaning service when necessary.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.

Night Cleaner Requirements

• Ability to manage your time efficiently.
• Work well when supervisors are not present.
• Able to communicate any potential problems to supervisors quickly.
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• Able to work independently or with a team.
• Able to use basic cleaning equipment.
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
