Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Gas Station Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service, stock shelves, and keep the store organized overnight. This entry-level role emphasizes product knowledge, efficiency, and a friendly attitude to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

You’ll use basic technology, follow established processes, and work with leadership to meet daily goals while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• You’re comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• You follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.

• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
