Job summary

Guardian Security Services, Inc. is seeking Security Officers for night shifts in Evanston. The role runs from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM in a climate-controlled indoor environment. The position supports a safe, welcoming place and requires punctual shift completion with no late handovers.

We value customer service, professional grooming, and the ability to work with diverse people. A valid PERC or willingness to obtain one is required, plus drug screening and onboarding training as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and excellent observation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a High School Diploma/GED.
• Must have a valid PERC or willing to apply for one.
• CPR/AED certification required or training provided during onboarding.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Access monitoring - Verify authorized entry to the property.
• Safety response - Address safety concerns promptly.
• Incident documentation - Complete accurate incident reports.
• Customer service - Provide courteous assistance and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Policy enforcement - Ensure compliance with community standards.
• Emergency coordination - Follow protocols for alarms, medical or police situations.
• Visibility and deterrence - Maintain a security presence to deter misconduct.
• Communication with supervisors - Report issues to site leadership promptly.
