Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Material Handler to join our warehouse team. You will perform loading, picking, packing, shipping and forklift operation in a fast-paced distribution environment.

This role requires the ability to work a third shift, with weekly pay, and a starting pay of $21 per hour plus a $1 per hour premium for third shift assignments. Strong teamwork and safety-conscious approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and push/pull up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accuracy in picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Process day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
