Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC is seeking a Nights forklift operator to safely load and unload trucks, pull pallets from production lines, and place finished products in the warehouse using a WMS system. The role requires forklift certification and the ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.

Essential duties include operating a sit-down forklift, planning deliveries, maintaining inventory, and adhering to safety standards. High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• The proven ability to safely operate a sit down motorized forklift.
• The ability to navigate within a WMS system.
• Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.
• 2 years experience in field or similar manufacturing environment.
• 2 years experience in the position and managing people/projects.

Responsibilities

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive forklift and move materials.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Plans supply and material requirements by studying production schedule and scheduling deliveries.
• Retrieves supplies and materials by locating and verifying supplies and materials; secures pallets on truck.
• Maintains inventory in production area by tracking usage and reporting discrepancies.
• Keeps forklift operating by following operating instructions and performing maintenance.
• Documents actions by logging movements of supplies and finished goods.
