Job summary

The Simplot Company in Caldwell, Idaho, is seeking a Packaging Materials Handler to ensure efficient movement and accurate staging of supplies in the Packaging Materials Storage Area. You will operate a forklift, monitor shipments, and maintain sanitation, quality, and GMP standards in a fast-paced environment.

Shift is 6pm–6am with a pay rate of $24.96 per hour. High school diploma or GED required; six months forklift experience preferred, and you will document counts, label inventory, and

Qualifications

• Six months forklift operating experience minimum.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, and high stacking totes.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the movement of supplies to and from the Packaging Materials Storage Area using a computer or handheld device.
• Stages fiber and other packaging goods.
• Verifies quantities against the Bill of Lading and labels inventory with bar codes and lot codes.
• Performs cycle counts, reconciles inventory and audits data.
• Operates forklift and conducts daily inspections of forklift equipment.
• Maintains safety, quality, GMPs and sanitation standards.
