Job summary

Sim monspetfood? Simmons Pet Food seeks a dependable Line Driver EM for the Meatroom during nights, based in Emporia, KS. The role involves operating an industrial forklift, receiving and transferring product, and ensuring accurate inventory through RFGEN and JDE systems.

Responsibilities include stocking and retrieving goods, reporting damage, maintaining safety inspections, labeling inventory, and following SOPs. A strong emphasis on teamwork and adherence to quality standards is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Experience with forklift operations and inventory control.
• Knowledge of RFGEN and JDE software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to receive/transfer product and materials.
• Rotate stock to use oldest materials first and report damaged cartons.
• Use scan gun/RFGEN for lot tracking to maintain accurate inventory.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and safety inspections.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and adhere to storage design principles.
• Create product labels for inventory and read lot numbers/expiration dates.
• Read production schedules and update computer systems with required data.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move pallets as needed.
• Maneuver forklift in tight spaces safely and work with team to meet priorities.
