Job summary

Pittston Co-Packers in Pittston, PA is hiring a Forklift Operator to move materials and finished pallets within our beverage manufacturing warehouse. You will load/unload, stock, and support production lines while maintaining accuracy and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of forklift or warehouse experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a strong focus on safety, inventory control, and teamwork in a cold-temperature setting up to 36°F.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of forklift or warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods to and from production lines
• Load and unload trailers, verifying product and quantities against shipping documents
• Stack pallets neatly and safely in designated warehouse locations
• Supply production lines with materials as needed to prevent downtime
• Use RF scanners or inventory systems to track material movements
• Assist in cycle counts and inventory accuracy audits
• Properly tag and label all product per company procedures
• Report discrepancies or damages to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards
• Perform daily pre-use inspections and report any equipment issues
• Follow safe lifting, stacking, and driving practices at all times
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free warehouse environment
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
• Communicate material shortages, space constraints, or line needs promptly
• Assist in warehouse housekeeping and organization efforts as needed
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, food safety, and quality standards, including GMPs, PPE requirements, and hazard reporting
• Perform all other duties or tasks as assigned by management to support departmental or company objectives.
