Job summary

Urban Farmer is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator / Backup CDL Driver to join our Warehouse & Logistics team in Manteno, IL. This role primarily operates forklifts to support warehouse operations, inventory movement, shipping, and receiving, while also serving as a backup CDL driver as needed.

Schedule: 10:00pm - 6:30am. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, a valid CDL license, a focus on safety, and flexibility to cover both 1st and 2nd shifts in a fast-paced food

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience required.
• Valid CDL license required.
• Strong attention to safety and reliability.
• Flexibility to work both 1st and 2nd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipments.
• Move raw materials, packaging, WIP, and finished goods.
• Ensure pallets and loads are secure and properly staged.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory counts, and material verification.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in warehouse and dock areas.
• Complete shift paperwork and shipping records.
• Follow production schedules and support departments.
